DTNA CIAM is the identity provider for external and customer-facing applications at Daimler Truck North America. If you see the DTNA CIAM login screen when accessing an application, you are signing in through this system.
CIAM manages identities for external users (dealers, fleet managers, suppliers) and some internal users who need access to customer-facing applications. If you have a corporate tbdir.net account, you may see a "Log in with Daimler Truck account" button on the login screen — click that to use your corporate credentials instead.
If your account has a primary email address, you can sign in with your email instead of your username. Otherwise, contact your Security Administrator for assistance — they can look up your username for you.
Click the "Security Admin" tab on this page and sign in with your account. Your Security Administrator’s name, email, and phone number will be displayed.
In most cases, you should only have one account. If you believe you need a second account for a different business purpose, contact your Security Administrator to discuss your situation. They will determine whether a second account is necessary.
The CIAM login screen works on all modern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on desktop and mobile devices.
First, verify you are entering the correct username or email address. If you forgot your password, click "Forgot your password?" on the login screen. If you still cannot access your account, submit a support ticket using the "Contact Support" link on this page.
Email sign-in allows you to log in using your primary email address instead of your username. Both methods work — you can sign in with whichever you prefer.
Yes. Username sign-in is permanent and will always work. Email sign-in is an additional option, not a replacement.
If your account has a primary email address, email sign-in is already available to you — just enter your email at the login screen instead of your username. If your account does not have a primary email address yet, you can update it through the self-service email update form. Contact your Security Administrator for the link if needed.
Your account may not have a primary email address set. Only accounts with a primary email can use email sign-in. Contact your Security Administrator to verify your account details, or use the self-service form to add a primary email.
Each account must have a unique primary email address. If you see an error that your email is already in use, it means another account already has that email. Contact your Security Administrator for help resolving the conflict.
The new Daimler Truck North America CIAM system is your single digital identity for accessing various Daimler Truck services and applications. Whether you are managing fleet operations, using digital tools, or accessing exclusive services, DTNA CIAM ensures secure and seamless authentication across all platforms.
We have improved the login experience for enhanced security and ease of use! This page will guide you through standard processes like logging in and updating your password.

An Identity and Access Management (IAM) system is a security framework that ensures only the right individuals have access to an organization’s technology resources.
Think of IAM like a club bouncer:
🏢
The club = Daimler Truck’s digital environment
🆔
Your identity = A club member’s ID card, proving who you are
🔑
Authentication = The bouncer checking your ID before letting you in
🎟
Authorization = The bouncer’s list, deciding which areas you are allowed to enter
Just like a club’s security ensures only the right people are allowed in, IAM protects Daimler Truck’s digital resources by managing access rights—making sure the right people can access the right services. This ensures security, efficiency, and compliance across the entire digital environment.
Your CIAM account consists of:
• Username — your unique login ID, automatically generated when your account was created
• Primary email address — a unique email address used for sign-in, password reset, and multi-factor authentication. Every account must have one.
• Secondary email address (optional) — an alternate email that can be used for password reset and MFA, but cannot be used for sign-in
• Password — your account password, which you can change or reset at any time
You can sign in with either your username or your primary email address — both work at the login screen.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) will be introduced in the future as an additional security layer for your account.
For corporate employees, your TBDIR.net account can be used to log in to customer applications if you have been assigned the proper access rights in the CIAM system.
If you have been assigned the proper access rights, you can authenticate using your TBDIR.net account by clicking the "Daimler Truck Corporate Login" button on the login screen. This will redirect you to the standard Microsoft Azure login process including MFA.
If you have not been assigned the proper access rights, you can submit an access request through ServiceNow using this link:
